About EABS
The East African Business Summit is a forum of the region’s best business minds to engage with thought leaders, practitioners and development actors to address key challenges and contribute to East Africa’s economic transformation.The first EABS was held at the Fairmont Mt Kenya Safari Club in November 2002 and a number of initiatives embarked on, including the formation of a consortium of regional Telcos to put together an investment plan for the first marine fibre-optic cable.
